Program:
My daycare is set up in the lower level or our split level home that sits in a quiet cul-de-sac. The backyard is fenced in and is full of outdoor toys, swing sets, & a playhouse. The garage is full of riding toys for all ages. The inside of the daycare is full of bright colors, learning centers, dramatic play areas, child friendly posters, & toys for all ages of boys & girls. The environment in my daycare is set up & ran as a preschool class. We have monthly themes that include stories, singing, art, learning centers, science, and cooking projects. We stay quite busy throughout the day. Occasionally we walk to the public library &and nearby parks. We try to take some filedfield trips or have people come into the daycare & share what their job is (ex. police, firemen, dentist, the recycling queen, Kool Kids on the block puppets, etc) We have books from the public library delivered once a month throughout the year.
